When you think of Chaz Mostert, you would think of Supercars, his Bathurst win, his success with Ford originally with DJR before moving on the #6 Ford and then moving on to Holden.
But ten years ago, Chaz was driving an OzTruck at Queensland Raceway for Wayne Miles in the iRace Touring Car series.
Driving the #88, Chaz won his first race in an OzTruck 1-2 finish with Graeme Struber, Chaz then won Race 2 from Troy Adams and Derrick Hocking in an Evo IX and a Holden Commodore.
Race 3 and 4 delivered Chaz finishes of third and second ensuring that he was on the podium for all four of the races.
As far as records go, that was the last time that Chaz drove an OzTruck in competition and as for OzTrucks themselves, they soon raced in bigger numbers and the majority of the trucks race in Stock Cars Australia.
